Grace and Mitchell hosted their urban wedding at Union 828 in the heart of the Crossroads District. Just a block from the Kauffman Performing Arts Center, this venue’s rooftop offers a full panoramic view of the city skyline.

We were lucky to be enlisted to provide the ceremony and reception audio support, both music and the microphones for the readings and toasts. And we have to say, it doesn’t get more classic and timeless than this!

More About the Wedding

The couple started their morning getting ready at the hotel with their closest friends and family. But from then on, everything moved to Union, a popular urban spot in downtown Kansas City. This three level venue offers multiple things for a wedding, and Grace and Mitchell took full advantage of it. The ceremony was held on the first floor of the venue against the exposed brick walls. After the ceremony was over, cocktail hour was hosted in the lower level of the venue, which exudes speakeasy and man cave vibes. Before the reception, the couple slipped away to the rooftop to capture some of those iconic city shots. And lastly, the top floor of the venue was used for the reception, where the wedding party was introduced and dancing took place.

This couple’s urban wedding at Union 828 was certainly a memorable one, and we are so thankful to have been a part of their day! We certainly hope you enjoyed the video, and if you are looking for a wedding DJ too, we’d love to be considered!
