Rooftop Wedding in Kansas City

This summer we worked with a dream team of wedding vendors to create a breathtaking rooftop wedding in Kansas City for Devyn Simone and Adam Lock. You may recognize Devyn from The Real World and First Swipe.

Devyn was a hands-on designer of her own wedding to fiancé Adam. With Events by Elle planning by their side and an extensive list of talented professionals at their disposal, this wedding was a memorable occassion for everyone in attendance!

Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony was held on a Kansas City rooftop in the heart of downtown at one of Skyline & Co.’s venues. Voluminous greenery and white bloom arrangements helped to soften the concrete and buildings in the background. Elegant gold chairs created a seated area with greenery sprawling down the aisle.

The couple’s wedding was officiated by Devyn’s co-host Clinton Kelly from First Swipe. After exchanging rings and vows the newlyweds were celebrated by their guests as they threw rose petals.

Wedding Reception

The elaborately designed, yet intimate cocktail hour and reception followed the wedding on the rooftop, complete with city views in all directions.

Signature drinks, custom signage and fact cocktail napkins kept guests entertained during cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed dinner by an award-winning cater as well as a stunning (and tasty) cake with unique lines.

The night culminated into a dance party with the Lost Wax band. The couple and their guests danced the night away on top of our custom-built dance floor with floral accents.
